  First of all, I really like Deanna and the nursing staff. The nurses are very kind, personable, and thorough. Originally when I was just establishing myself here and “healthy” everything was great. I saw Jasmine for a well woman exam and everything was fine. When I got sick they initially seemed invested in figuring out what was causing me issues but after testing for a few things they just dropped off. No one called me about test results. I only found out because I had signed up to automatically receive this electronically from the lab itself. After still being in pain and seeing Dr. Black herself I found myself suggesting tests to run via my symptoms. When none of these yielded anything significant except a slight deficiency, I was sent away with a quick print out and told to change my diet. “Eat more leafy greens”, I do several times every day because I’ve been anemic in the past. The issues persisted and were affecting my ability to work and care for my family. When I went in determined to get an answer it was finally suggested I was merely anxious and they could refer me to a therapist. I did not want to have to change practices and seek a new doctor but I did. And I finally got a diagnosis and relief (it was not anxiety). They are seemingly very kind if a bit dismissive but when you are in pain or your condition isn’t obvious there is no curiousity or wanting to evaluate you beyond the surface. It was also difficult getting appointments. I would describe being in pain to a receptionist only to be scheduled weeks out. So be prepared to fill in with urgent care or the ER. I would suggest seeking another practitioner if possible.
